murty can has romance?
a huge welcome to my massive fan base in korea, its great to have you with me once again.
this blog probably won’t be as long, but i am sure it will be just as deep and meaningful as the rest.
today i had the pleasure of spending the evening with my lovely girlfriend, adele. after several years of contemplating the idea of flying to the moon, i decided that a nice picnic overlooking the barossa valley would be more suitable. adele had no idea what we were doing and it pretty much burned her up inside
so today i really had to step up a romantic notch from last year and started it off with sending flowers to her at school. i’m fairly sure she loved them and i held my hands high triumphantly. then after a tedious and busy day at the office, i picked her up and escorted her to my parents place. she had no idea where we were going until i headed to angaston. what else is there to do in angaston except go to my parents place? but she assumed we were going to have tea with my parents… with my parents! psch, what kind of valentines day is that!
so anyways i headed up past my place and over the hill to where it overlooks all of tanunda and half of nuriootpa. we set up camp and spent a while checking out the view and enjoying each others company. i cranked open the picnic i prepared and consumed that, i even let adele have a nibble on some cheese. to cut a long story short, we had a great time and had fun.
just before the sun fully set, we hiked like 20 metres away to get past a tree and enjoyed the fantastic sunset to finish off an amazing evening, and i took a few snaps with my mums camera.
my wonderful house mates were amazingly not supportive and told me i’m being sucked into this whole money raising occasion. but i really enjoy being able to make people happy and especially my girlfriend. so i am more than happy to do what i can to make her happy and spend time with her. i think if you are doing things with a reluctant heart, that is where things start to go wrong. i apologise to my house mates for not playing volleyball with them tonight, but its hard when events fall on the same day as other events. sometimes you have to make a decision and stick with it.
i would like to thank my parents for the use of their picnic gear and camera. i would like to thank isaac for his training for last years valentines day with alicia which prepared me this year. i would like to thank foodland for provisioning me with food. i would like to thank adeles parents for allowing me to take their daughter out for the evening. i would like to thank adele for putting up with me and being awesome. and most of all i would like to thank my god for blessing me with opportunities like this and for money to do these things and how good he is to me.
i love all you guys, i have added some more images from this evening you can check them out here.
love murty!
