murty can has crazy?

hi kids!
welcome to another blog proudly brought to you by the same people who made the colour orange. for those of you who don’t know, my life has been like… er… crazy! so much has been happening, so much to keep track of, so much to concentrate on, so much to give to god.

to get you all up-to-date on my craziness, i present to you a list of my craziness, in no particular order:
ypout camp organisation//ypout camp//work//more work//trip to america//fixing peoples computers//organising internet for people//buying hardware for people//more work//hanging with friends//keeping up with technology//more work… i could probably go on. it may not seem much, but for those of you who don’t know this about me, i am not an organised person. i find it hard to manage how i spend my time, so chucking all these organisational roles and responsibilities at me has been tough.

but in amongst all this, i really have to thank my beautiful adele for her support. she probably doesn’t know it, but it is so awesome to have someone to go back to and just talk to openly about what is going on. she is also very good to reflect with and learn where changes have been made. i thank you so much adele when you read this!
i also have the continuous support of my close friends and housemates, who always make it easy for me to tune out from the business of my life and just concern myself on the flavour of cordial i want to drink.
but most of all i have my lord who is always right beside me, in my ups and downs, in my craziness and docileness. it gives me so much comfort to know i can just talk to him and know he will listen.

which brings me to my next point.
at ypout this year, we had the privilege of having dan harbottle speak to us. one particular session he spoke about being silent. fact: for a sound engineer to record 1 hour of natural sound in the us somewhere, it takes 2,000 hours of recording. just shows how busy this world is and how easy it is to caught up in the rush of life. i was challenged to just stop. stop my routine. stop my life, and spend time with my god. it is something i still have not implemented, but it’s something i need to and want to do.

new laptopso much has happened since my last blog, but something that has excited me is the purchase of my new laptop. it goes by the name of ‘loltop’ and even after having it for only a few weeks, i don’t think i could go back to having a pc. i love the fact i can take it anywhere and have use for it. it is also extremely handy for work, because now i can take my office anywhere (not literally). it has been something i have wanted for quite a while now and i am extremely grateful that i have one now. you can check out the unboxing of it here.

my trip to america is only 3 weeks away, and i still do not have a visa or a plane ticket! this is certainly something that is on my mind quite a bit now, and i find it hard not to stress about it. hopefully tomorrow (today now) i will be able to book my interview to the us consulate in melbourne to get my visa, so i really need to pray that i can get an appointment asap. (by the time you read this, i will probably already have an appointment, i might make a small blog about it for all you dedicated blog readers.) i am still really excited about going, but the reality of it still hasn’t completely hit me, and i don’t think it will until i have got my visa. thankfully both my parents are really supportive of me doing this, which is really helpful as they are my superiors in my workplace. so they are more than happy me to organise different things for the trip and let them know what is happening. if you could keep hayley, teela and myself in your prayers as we prepare our trip to the us, that would be fantastic and hugely appreciated!

at this present moment, i am sitting in the partly decked out garage of hannah and adam’s new place. adam is currently revamping my blog for me and i am incredibly grateful, and i am sure you will be as well. (adam is a web designer, small plug: www.kopymark.com) (adam and hannah are also “together”, lol is all i have to say.)

well i have so much more i could write about, but i know i don’t like having to read stupidly huge blogs, so i will end it there for you.
thanks for reading once again and please watch the video i have added!

murty! :D

Do I count as someone? So you’ll have to change that “No one has said stuff” line! Great update, Murty. YAY! 3 weeks and you’ll be here! Hopefully it’ll be warmer than 35F like it was today… it’s normally 70F this time of year. Bring some sun with you!! You’re in my prayers! :)
